On May 6, 1977, defendant-appellant, Sterling K. Unea (hereinafter appellant), was sentenced by the circuit court of the third circuit to serve a prison term of ten years, having been previously found guilty by a jury of the offense of assault in the first degree in violation of HRS § 707-710 (1976). He has appealed to us from this judgment and sentence. We affirm.
